About the Bias Awareness Course

We all carry bias. It's part of how the human brain processes information quickly, but in the workplace and classroom, it shapes outcomes in ways that are rarely fair and often invisible. This course gives you the language, frameworks, and practice to change that. Across five modules, you'll move from understanding what bias actually is (and where yours might be hiding) to applying a concrete interruption model in real situations. You'll explore how structural bias lives in the systems around you  (not just in individuals)  and learn how to advocate for the kind of change that sticks. Meet Your Instructor: Laurabel Mba

Laurabel Mba, is an Anti-racism educator and Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging (DEIB) strategist who helps organizations navigate workplace culture challenges, lead difficult conversations, and build equity strategies that create meaningful, lasting change. For over four years, she has worked with leaders, HR teams, nonprofits, and organizations to move equity and inclusion from intention to action. That work often starts with naming what is really happening beneath the surface. Every organization has its own culture, challenges, and blind spots. Her role is to help name what needs attention and build from there.
